Pumpkin Still Life in watercolor

Let the glow of jack-o-lanterns inspire your creativity! In this hands-on watercolor workshop, artist Miriam Baranov will guide you through the basics of sketching and watercolor techniques such as sketching, color layering, and brushwork in a relaxed, beginner-friendly setting.

During the first hour of class, you’ll follow along with some step-by-step demonstrations to build your skills. In the second hour, you’ll apply what you’ve learned to create your own seasonal still life painting featuring real pumpkins from our Pumpkins Aglow display. All materials will be provided.

Weather permitting, we’ll begin the workshop with a short outdoor walk to view Pumpkins Aglow up close, and spark inspiration.
